2020 Catch the Wave Virtual Conference FAQs

Is 2020 CTW canceled?
No, we decided to transform the 2020 Catch the Wave into an entirely virtual conference. This will offer our network the possibility to learn and gain inspiration from each other. The Catch the Wave Regional Conference, provides networking, training, and access to both women business owners and corporate members from across our region of Ohio, Kentucky & West Virginia. All of this while protecting the safety, health, and well-being of all conference participants.

Will the virtual conference take place at the same time and dates?
Yes. The platform will first be available between 21-24 September 2020, with sessions live-streamed according to the program schedule.

I already registered for the conference in person (Sandusky, Oh). Am I automatically registered for the virtual conference?
Yes, you are automatically registered for the virtual conference. Further details and guidance on how to navigate the virtual platform will be announced.
 
What if I am not available during the virtual conference dates?
The content will be available on-demand for four days following the conference dates for all registered participants. Live sessions will take place between September 21-24, 2020. As well, you are able to enter in and out. Recording will be available after the conference, for 4 days, after that the login won't work.

What do I need to attend the virtual conference?
To attend the virtual conference, you need a good internet connection, your device or computer, and a valid registration. You will receive login details a few days prior to the conference.

How can I ask questions at the virtual conference?
Discussion groups will be created for each session and you will be able to join a public online chat discussion and ask questions.
Speakers will be asked to join the discussions as well and address the questions posted.
Live sessions will have live Q&A sessions!
As well Chat networking will be available!!

I am a presenter/speaker at the event what should I do?
